The criteria are rigorous and cover a wide range of areas, including surgical outcomes, complication and infection rates, mortality rates, post-surgical follow up, and equipment. The Hurley Bariatric Center has been accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Level 1 Bariatric Surgery Center Network, a Blue Distinction(r) Center for Bariatric Surgery, and a Cigna Three-Star Quality Center for Bariatric Surgery.
