Dr. Farhan is the Director of Bariatric Surgery for Hurley Medical Center and Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Hurley Medical Center. He is a board certified General Surgeon. As a busy general surgeon, Dr. Farhan also takes care of trauma patients and teaches Advanced Trauma Life Support to physicians and students.

Dr. Farhan brings his surgical experience and caring manner to the Hurley Bariatric Center team to help bariatric patients reach their goals. Dr. Farhan has specialized in bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery since 2001 and has performed more than 1,000 bariatric procedures including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and adjustable gastric band surgery.
