Jennifer joined the Hurley Medical Center’s bariatric team during March 2010. She is a registered dietitian, having earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics from Madonna University in Livonia, MI. She went on to complete her training and dietetic internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health System in Ann Arbor, MI, and she has earned certification as a nutrition support specialist. Jennifer’s experience in Dietetics includes clinical consulting in long-term care settings as well as serving as a Clinical Dietitian for the Detroit Medical Center in both acute/critical care and outpatient oncology settings.
As Hurley Bariatric Center’s Registered Dietitian, Jennifer is enthusiastic about the opportunity she has to teach and encourage people to make positive lifestyle changes that will improve their health! She strives to provide the very best care using evidence-based practice, and feels privileged to work for a healthcare system whose Mission, “Clinical Excellence. Service to People.” is clearly evident throughout the organization.
