Julia began her career with Hurley Medical Center in 2000 as the Assistant Director of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetic Internship, working with the dietitian’s in the Bariatric program. In 2003, she transitioned to Ambulatory Services and began leading and managing multiple programs for the Hurley system. She believes in Hurley and its mission.

Julia feels honored and privileged to be a part of the team at the Hurley Bariatric Center. The whole bariatric program supports Hurley’s mission: “Clinical Excellence. Service to People”. They live it with every customer they see while providing the highest quality care in the most efficient manner. 

Evidence of the Bariatric Center’s high quality is its designation as a Bariatric Center of Excellence for its bariatric surgery and care programs by the American College of Surgeons and other private insurance plans.
